Repurposed Vintage Suitcase

My best friend got me this cool old suitcase for Xmas because he knows I love to do DIY projects. So I decided to turn it into an end table. The supplies for the project cost me about $30 which wasn’t to bad. I started off by staining the legs for the table with a light black stain. Then I took a piece of cardboard and made a stencil of the inside base of the suitcase so I could cut out a wood base so the legs had something I could anchor them too (I also stained this cut out base black). Then I drilled holes in the base of the suitcase so could anchor the legs to the board inside the suitcase. Once that was done I screwed on the legs and the project was done :) Only took about two days to complete mainly because I had to wait for the stain to dry the first day. And not only does it serve as a small table but could also be used to store things in.
