Fried Marbles
I found this on stumble upon and I have never heard of fired marble jewelry before and thought it was the coolest thing. You can make some really pretty jewelry doing this and all you need are marbles and some wire to wrap around the marble to put on a necklace.
Below is a full tutorial and you can google fried marbles for more pictures and ideas for making your own marble jewlery.

Make classy wine glass charms for your next classy party :)
All you need are corks, small eye screws, twine (or ribbon or wire just something to tie the charm to the glass), and rubber stamps (or whatever you choose to decorate the charm with).  Enjoy :)

DIY Coin Necklace

I was bored this weekend and decided to make a couple necklaces with some old coins I had. The first one is made from an old nickel (there was already a hole in it so I didn’t need to drill a hole myself) and I took an old chain from a broken key chain and fastened it to the coin using some pliers.  Then I took some twine and threaded it through the end of the chain (I eventually want to get a strip of leather from the craft store to replace the twine but it will do for now). The next necklace I made was from an old NY transit token. The coin already had a hole in the center as well so I just looped some twine through it.  Since I didn’t have a fasten for either of the necklaces I made a tiny loop at one end of the string and at the other end I put on a small button to use as a clasp.

Now I have a cool vintage coin necklace and It only cost my a few cents!!

Camping/Portable Spice Kit
Great DIY for those who like to go camping or travel a lot.  All you need is a weekly pill holder which you can get at the store for a few bucks and labels (which you can get creative with or not).

Jorts?

This looks really cool! I’m going to do this with the next pair of jeans I grow out of or just pick up a cheap pair from the thrift store down the street.  All you need is some bleach to splatter on the jeans and a razor to rub against the jeans to give it a worn/torn look. I also love how only one of the pockets on the back is bleached!

colbeans:

Some crazy-grunge shorts I made out of a pair of black Levi’s 511’s this week. These will fit right in with the random conglomerate that is my wardrobe.
